Bursting the Pakistani myths

Myths in Pakistan have a very special place, here myths are not only myths but a manifestation of our echo-chambers. mainstream myths is a term because here in My Country fiction is treated as a fact and satire is reality. When you try to discern between factual statistics and fictional cherry-picking, self-serving numbers it is probably the hardest thing you are draining your energy on.

Let’s begin with the biggest myth of the country and it resides in the creation itself.

Pakistan was created on 14th august 1947

Are you shocked to hear this that it is listing as a myth? If yes, then congratulations because you are welcome to the boat of facts. So the real date of independence is the 15th of august 1947, yes same as our brothering neighbor country India. In Jinnah’s first-ever speech Jinnah himself quoted “It is with feelings of greatest happiness and emotion that I send you my greetings. August 15 is the birthday of the independent and sovereign State of Pakistan.” Even the postages that were published in June 1947 have the date 15th august written all over it.

Dawn newspaper headline with the date
First-ever postage stamps

All the terrorists are non-Muslims and cannot be Muslims.

After every terrorist activity that happened in Pakistan, there always is a theory by Pakistani people “They can’t be Muslim”

Afterward of every suicide bombings this a general statement I always hear about but evidence always suggests “yes they are Muslims” “they killed people in the name of God “ then “ how cannot they are supposed Not to be Muslims ? “ in 16th of December 2014 a group of people killed 150 children in APS saga and each and every time any Child was killed they were forced to say “ kalmia “ now how are they supposed to be non-Muslims? The biggest conundrum Pakistanis and on bigger spectrum Muslims faced is that they are not owning and accepting Something which Is So Crystal Clear.when you accept the problem worldviews and paradigms tend to be changed and the central truth that we have to eradicate the problem will be highlighted.

YAHOODI SAAZISH(Conspiracy By Jews)

This term yahoodi saazish (Jewish conspiracy) is so prevalent in Pakistan that you just cannot let your hears escaped from hearing this traumatic myth. Whether it is 9/11 or it is any other activity that demonizes or demeans Pakistan or Islamic world, in general, you will be hit up with that echo-chamber “ it is done by the jews and they are kaafirs “.

Disclaimer: This article is also a yahoodi saazish.

INDIA IS BEHIND IT

Now how many of you have not heard this thing in the last five days, I bet you would hear it just a second ago. Anything that is negative in Pakistan has been done by India to degrade the best country in the world which is off course Pakistan. Let me tell you the funny part here there was the public opinion survey done by international republicans institute based in Washington affiliated with the republicans who promote democracy over the world and they asked about the 2008 Mumbai attacks. despite strong indications that the attacks in Mumbai last November were the work of a militant group based in Pakistan, Pakistanis surveyed overwhelmingly said that they did not believe the media.

So they asked another question about it; the general question if the attacks were not planned in Pakistan then who was behind it, the results of that were more startling. So Pakistani people revealed that the Mumbai attacks were done by “raw/India” themselves.

So attacks on India were planned and executed by raw themselves, congratulations my fellow Pakistanis you have hit the right chord in a guitar if not right probably over the top different. As they say, you don’t have to be better but you have to be different. We are probably still not better than India in myths and conspiracy theories but still, we are different.

I will have to write many paragraphs on why people believe in these myths while evidence is antithetical to it, but I have to end it By the quote of Isaac Asimov “The saddest aspect of life right now is that science gathers knowledge faster than society gathers wisdom.”
